I want to do crayon stained glass for arts and crafts with a ton of kids but I’m kinda weary now on the time it would take to grate the crayons. Has anyone ever used a food processor or blender for this? Did it work? Did damage it or leave permanent wax residue?

Planning to make a dozen lemon cupcakes, and the recipe says I should cream the ingredients together using an electric hand mixer or hands. I do not have an electric hand mixer yet, and do not really have time to mix by hand. Can I use a food processor or blender instead?! Also, the ingredients are the basics, stuff like flour, sugar, butter etc. Thank you.

I want to make apple juice but I keep getting apple sauce…..
So are there anything else I can make that’s good? What happens if I blend apples and ice? Anything else????

As in a KitchenAid food processor, an attachment that comes with it is a dough blade. Can that be used in place of a pastry blender when making pie crust?

I tried twice, to whip cream in my food processor but each time it just curdled.
The cream was cool (straight out of the fridge), and I used the proper attachment, whisking for the recommended two minutes.
Does anyone else have the same problem?
Thanks in advance.

I really want a small smoothie blender (not huge) because that’s really the only way i get to eat fruit. Also any good recipes not using exotic fruits?

I swear every time I use the one I have I feel deaf afterwards. My boyfriend says it’s because I bought the cheapest brand from Walmart. Is this true? In your experience what is the quietest make and model of a food processor? My BF says it’s the Ninja but I don’t like that one because it doesn’t slice, mince and shred. I want one that does everything.

I tried grinding whole cloves, cinnamon and black pepper together in my 11-cup Cuisinart food processor. This heated up the motor so I stopped immediately. The motor is unaffected but I now have a circular indentation near the base of the bowl with discoloration from the spices which cannot be removed. Any advice?
Also, which appliance would work best the next time I want to grind hard stuff like this?
